About

The Police Pension Board of Trustees is established to administer a police pension fund, as prescribed by state law, for the benefit of the Village's police officers and of their surviving spouses, children, and certain other dependents. See more information about the Board at its website here.

Meetings and Membership

The Police Pension Board of Trustees consists of 5 members, 2 of whom are appointed by the Village President, 2 of whom are elected from the active Village police force, and 1 of whom is elected from the beneficiaries of the police pension fund. Each member serves for a 2-year term.

Public comments may be made in-person at a meeting without prior notice to the Village. Additionally, public comments may be made via a remote meeting link. A request for a remote meeting link should be made to the Board Treasurer, Lori Lyons, in writing/email no later than noon (12pm) the day of the meeting.
