Garbage Pick-Up Service
Flood Brothers is the Village's residential waste hauler as of July 1, 2021. The collection day is normally on Thursday and changes in observance of holidays. Pick-up times may vary.
Current Garbage Collection Rates:
Regular = $43.52 per two-month cycle
Senior = $28.28 per two-month cycle

About Flood Brothers
Flood Brothers has been a locally owned company for five generations. Flood Brothers serves more than 200 communities, including Pingree Grove and others in Kane County.
Flood Brothers provides the same services as the Village's former waste hauler. Over five years, working with Flood Brothers will save the Village of Hampshire taxpayers $300,000. Seniors will continue to receive discounted rates.
Quality Customer Service is a Top Priority
Customer service is important to Flood Brothers. Hampshire will be assigned a dedicated management team and daily supervisor. The customer service office is staffed Monday to Friday 7:30am to 5:30pm and Saturday 8am to 12pm. There is an after-hours, 24/7 response system and 24-hour emergency dispatcher.
Environment, Safety and Community
The environment, safety, and giving back to the community are all part of Flood Brothers’ culture. As an added benefit to the Village, Flood Brothers will provide waste and portable toilet services at Village events, as well as handle shredding, at-your-curb hazardous waste pick-up, electronics recycling, and more. More information will be included in the welcome packets that will be mailed to residents in early June.
