About
The village clerk is appointed by the village president with the advice and consent of the Village Board, and she is responsible for all records for the Village. She has custody and control of all municipal papers, attends all meetings of the Village Board, and maintains a full record of proceedings. Additionally the village clerk receives applications and payments, publishes notices and ordinances, swears in officers of the Village, and serves as the Village's FOIA officer.
