The Village of Hampshire Liquor Commission temporarily allows Curbside Pick-up and Delivery of alcohol

For the duration of the Governor’s executive order, businesses within the village that sell alcohol (restaurants, bars, grocery stores, and liquor stores) can offer curbside pickup and delivery of alcohol in its original sealed container. The person selling or delivering the alcohol needs to be able to confidently verify if the person is over the age of 21.

Delivery and pickup can be offered for anything that is in an original sealed container. For instance, a bottle or can of beer, a bottle of wine, or a bottle of liquor.

Draft Beer is not eligible since it would not be in its original container. An exception to this is the sale of Growlers. Growlers are able to be picked up and delivered as long as they are sealed.

Mixed drinks like a whiskey old fashioned sweet, a margarita, or a shot of alcohol are prohibited. However, if the business would like to sell a “kit” containing ingredients along with a factory sealed bottle of spirits they can choose to do so, it is up to the business to decide if they would like to offer drink “kits”

Kegs are also eligible, but the limit on gatherings of more than 10 people is still in effect.

Remember, it is still illegal to have an open container of alcohol or to consume alcohol while driving.

Please be safe-
