COVID-19 Information

Posted: 3/31/2020

The Kane County Health Department has made the Village of Hampshire aware that a resident has tested positive for COVID-19. Please note that only the Hampshire Police Department and Hampshire Fire Protection District have been made aware of the resident’s address. This is so they can be fully prepared with personal protective equipment should they need to respond to this residence. Due to HIPPA laws, no other individual outside the Police or Fire Department knows any other details about this positive case.

The village would like to remind everyone to properly wash their hands, disinfect commonly used surfaces, and to practice social distancing. As you are aware, the Governor has extended the stay-at-home order through April 30th, 2020. Please limit travel to only essential needs. This is your best defense against COVID-19.

While everyone is inundated with information, your best local source for information is the Kane County Health Department.

The below link is a map from the Kane County Health Department that will be updated by 4:30 p.m. CST each day with any positive cases within the county.
