Finance Department

The finance department is responsible for the accounting of all of the Village’s resources and for maintaining a fiscally sound government organization that adheres to legal requirements and to sound financial management principles. The department serves many functions including assisting with the preparation of the operating budget and annual fiscal reports, monitoring cash and debt management, processing payroll for all Village of Hampshire employees, processing payments to vendors, issuing invoices for Village services, tracking fixed assets, overseeing procurement of services, commodities, equipment and construction, administering the Village’s employee benefit plan and coordinates risk management and insurance.
